Pre-orders have opened for our April fresh chicken. In order to get on the list, we ask for a $10 non refundable deposit to hold your chicken. There is no limit on quantity, however if you are wanting more than 10 birds at one time, please contact us to ensure we can fulfill. We will process end of April.
The price for whole chicken pre ordered will be $6 a pound and the remainder is due at pick up/delivery. Fed organically, non gmo, and on pasture. We feed a Non GMO feed. The chicken will be whole and bagged. If you want cuts, there will be an additional $6 fee due at pick up/delivery. Please indicate in order if you would like cuts.
Deposits cannot be used with cash on delivery. The remainder can. The deposits need to be paid in order for reservations.
We raise different species of poultry and offer all sizes when available. The Cornish Hen dresses out to 2-4 pounds, however some get larger. We cannot determine the weight until after dressed. We raise all our birds on pasture so they can enjoy the beauty around them, bugs, grass, and sunshine, along with their needed grain to grow to full potential. The price per pound for our Cornish Hens are $6 a pound. This is the preorder price. It’s higher when not preordered. A fresh chicken is unfrozen but need to be picked up within 2 days once we contact you. After 2 days, the chicken is placed in the freezer. It’s still fresh but freshly frozen.
We are permitted through FDAC to sell poultry meat and eggs legally in Florida. We can only sell within Florida. Pick up at the gate or our farm stand when it is up and running. As soon as order is placed, we will contact you when we are close to processing to set up an appointment for pick up or delivery.
As in any CSA type share, if we are unable to fulfill this round due to unforeseen events, we will fulfill with the next round. All deposits are non-refundable.
