If you are wanting fresh eggs and from humanely raised and happily roaming cage free ducks, then you are at the right place! We offer a dozen delicious super fresh eggs from our pasture raised ducks. The ducks have full access in an open pen of grass. We collect twice a day to avoid the eggs sitting in the heat. The eggs are examined, cleaned and washed prior to being packaged. You cannot compare our eggs to any grocery store. These are the freshest you can get!
All duck eggs will be washed and stored in a refrigerator.
Duck eggs have more protein than chicken eggs, even taking size into consideration. With their larger yolk to white ratio, duck eggs are great for baking. They contain less water and more fat, making wonderful egg candidates for custards and pie fillings. Although we love our chicken eggs, duck eggs hold more antioxidants, omega-3-fatty acids, and 50% more vitamin A than chicken eggs.
