If you are wanting fresh eggs and from humanely raised Quail Eggs, then you are at the right place! We offer a dozen delicious super fresh eggs from our Quail. The eggs are beautiful and speckled. No egg is alike. We collect twice a day to avoid the eggs sitting in the heat. The eggs are examined and cleaned prior to being packaged. You cannot compare our eggs to any grocery store. These are the freshest you can get!
Quail eggs are smaller than chicken eggs. Because we selectively breed our birds to be dual purpose, most of the eggs are larger than the average quail egg. 4 to 5 quail eggs equal a chicken egg but are packed full of nutrition! Compared to chicken eggs, they are higher in iron, B12, and folate, protein, and phosphorus. They are also higher in fat due to the yolk to white ratio, but most of it is mono-unsaturated fats, which is the good fats. Quail eggs also do not contain salmonella due to the high temperatures of the hen internally, therefore raw quail eggs can be used in shakes or taken by itself. Many claim that there are many medicinal properties in quail eggs but please do your research prior.
